Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 June 2026
These terms govern your use of Raffair, a platform for hosting and entering raffles and prize draws in the UK and Ireland. By creating an account or entering a raffle, you agree to them.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the UK or Ireland to use Raffair. We may verify your age and identity, and we may refuse or close accounts that do not meet these requirements.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account. You may sign in with email and password or with a supported social login (Facebook, Google, or Apple). Keep your details accurate and up to date.
Entering raffles
Ticket purchases are made through Stripe Checkout. Entries are confirmed once payment succeeds and appear in your account. All entries are final once a draw has taken place, except as required by law or these terms.
Hosting raffles
Hosts must complete Stripe Connect onboarding and provide accurate information about their prize, schedule, and rules. Hosts are responsible for delivering the prize as described and for complying with all applicable laws. We hold entry funds in escrow and release payouts in line with the published process.
Draws and prizes
Draws are conducted by a publicly verifiable process. Where a host's stated goal is not met, the goal-not-met flow applies and entries may be refunded as described at the point of entry. Cash prizes are released from escrow once the winner confirms the required details.
Fees
Raffair charges a commission on funds raised and passes payment-processing costs through at cost. Applicable fees are shown before you publish or enter a raffle.
Responsible play
We provide tools including deposit limits and self-exclusion. Please use them if you need to, and play responsibly. Raffair operates under the Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators.
Prohibited use
You must not use Raffair for fraud, money laundering, or any unlawful purpose, post prohibited or infringing content, attempt to manipulate draws, or interfere with the platform's security or operation. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
Liability
We provide the platform with reasonable care and skill but do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from a host's conduct or from your failure to follow these terms.
Closing your account
You can close your account at any time. For deletion of your account and personal data, see our data deletion instructions. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
These terms are being finalised with legal counsel ahead of launch and may be updated. The substance above reflects how the platform currently operates.
